At the turn of the year 2014/2015 we made a big test of transhipment loaders. For two months we had the opportunity fully exploit the demonstration machine TEREX-FUCHS MHL350 with a lightweight, open-top grab.
For the purpose of this test, we rebuilt our loading hopper and customized storage and production area. We have also tested a similar machine during unloading railway wagons for our customers. The operating parameters of the machine were throughout very good and fuel consumption was extremely low. Although we eventually didn´t buy transhipments loader after a detailed evaluation of the test, because of problems of loading our fuel at the railroad wagons is very specific, we gained a lot of interesting and practical experience. As an extremely well, we evaluated the results of the unloading railway wagons by transhipment feeder – and here we see the greatest potential for its future use while working with our products.
